Changing without measuring is gambling. Nevertheless, many organizational changes are initiated without prior thought about how their success is determined. The result? Nice trajectories with no proof of impact. With Deepler's Impact Measurement & Impact Analysis, we make change measurable — in a way that convinces, guides and adjusts.
Every intervention, from leadership training to a cultural program, aims at a change in behavior, experience or collaboration. But without measurement, it remains guessing whether it actually works. And without proof of effect, it will be difficult to substantiate follow-up actions, investments or assurance. That's why Deepler integrates effect measurements at the heart of every change process.
Our method is unique: we combine employee perception of specific interventions with development on related themes to measure the actual effect in the context of your organization.
Effect measurements within Deepler are based on correlation analysis. At the start of the intervention, we draw up three metrics that capture the experience of the intervention (for example, a team process or leadership session). Then, using the regular Deepler survey, we measure whether there is improvement on the associated theme, such as cooperation, trust or workload.
When an increase in the theme coincides with a positive perception of the intervention, a strong correlation occurs. This shows: this intervention has an impact.
Impact measurement is more than data. It's also storytelling. That's why we link each outcome to a clear impact analysis: what do we see in the figures, which subgroups react differently, and what can we learn from this? This is how we translate the figures into insights that management or HR can focus on immediately.
Our reports are compact, visual and provided with an action perspective. They not only show whether something works, but also for whom, why and where any adjustments need to be made.
Effect measurement is also a key to assurance. By organizing measurement moments cyclically, a rhythm of reflection and adjustment has been created. In this way, learning becomes an integral part of change. In addition, it helps organizations to show what works, internally and externally - for example to stakeholders, OR or investors.
Deepler not only offers tooling, but also guidance in preparing good measurements, interpreting correlations and presenting results.
With effect measurement & impact analysis, you can professionalize change processes. You make assumptions testable, create support with evidence and increase your strategic strength. This shows that change is not only desirable - but also works.
